Program fees

Pre-requisite course is offered for Rs.2,000
Each Core Module is offered for Rs.6,000
Students are encouraged to register for all the three modules. However, they can also choose to select one or more modules as per their convenience and interest.

– If a student registers for any one module, s/he shall pay 2,000 + 6,000 = Rs. 8,000
– If a student registers for two modules, s/he shall pay 2,000 + 12,000 = Rs. 14,000
– If a student registers for two modules, s/he shall pay 2,000 + 18,000 = Rs. 20,000

Student Eligibility

Undergraduate/Graduate in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Environmental Engineering or the equivalent.

Prerequisite courses:
Mathematics, Engineering geology or the equivalent.

Preferable course experience:
Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, Geotechnical engineering, Hydrology/Hydrogeology, Water and Wastewater Engineering, Environmental science.

Training Program Details

The program promotes the personal development of knowledge and skills needed to start working as a professional engineer in the field of infrastructure and environmental engineering. The curriculum includes development of plots and roads, urban planning, traffic engineering, foundation of structures and buildings, tunnels, remediation of contaminated sites, protection of soil and water resources, design of drinking water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, transmission mains and distribution systems.

Students will experience all phases of the engineering process including planning, design, construction, operation, assessment and rehabilitation, and different engineering roles relevant for the field will be demonstrated with real projects.

Integration of professional experience in education is an important part of the program and the student will be well prepared to leap frog into the industry in a professional role. The program will fulfil the market need for qualified competence: technical specialists and system generalists but also researchers and academic teachers
